EVONNE PAIK GRIFFIN
Evonne Griffin- As a multidisciplinary designer specializing in Scenic Design and Interior Design, Evonne combines visual storytelling with technical expertise to create immersive, emotionally resonant environments. Proficient in both Revit and traditional model-making, she transforms scripts and concepts into compelling spaces that capture the intent of the story and deepen the audience's experience.
Raised in a family immersed in the LA fashion industry, Evonne brings a distinctive perspective to every project. Her portfolio spans theatrical productions as well as luxury residential interiors in Texas and Montana, reflecting her versatility, creativity, and attention to detail.
Evonne has taught in the Department of Theatre and Dance at The University of Texas at Austin and has been an active collaborator with Austin Shakespeare, contributing her design expertise to productions that celebrate classical and contemporary works.
Education:
Evonne holds an MFA in Scenic Design from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University, Evonne was awarded the Donald M. Oenslager Scholarship for her achievements in stage design. She had the honor of training under and assisting the late Ming Cho Lee, a legendary figure in set design. Her academic foundation also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Entertainment Design from ArtCenter College of Design, complemented by an Interior Design certificate from UCLA.
